Gaming Nostalgia

Is it bad that I have no idea what “Under a Killing Moon” is? :open_mouth:

Some of my all-time favourites are:
Panzer Dragoon Saga and the first Tomb Raider on Sega Saturn.
Goldeneye on Nintendo 64.
Final Fantasy VII on the first Playstation.
Games have come a long way since then but nothing can ever replace your old favourites!

Unless some sort of Total Rekall procedure happens to us!

Contra was the best

I suppose it’s a little niche! It was at the dawn of CD games- and there were a lot of games that used video because they could. Most of them were trash. The Tex Murphy series (Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive, etc) were great though!

Interesting! I might simply be a little too young to know about them! Always more to learn in the gaming world!

Sinclair system. Games and software loaded by casette tapes lol. Sound of a fax. Waiting for 15 minutes to have a nice character that was only a cube :stuck_out_tongue:

haha didn’t have the chance to experience that!

When I was a small kid my parents bought me the Intellivision Video Game console. The first game that I remember getting hooked on was Tennis. It was so much fun that I wouldn’t stop playing.

Original Legend of Zelda Nintendo nes

Original Mario Bros was the game of my youth

@Mac Look what I found
I played with my son during Holidays.

:hugs: Awesome!!! I wish I still had my N64! That’s Goldeneye right there!!! :star_struck: I used to play with 2 controllers, 1 in each hand. The left controller moves the character and the right hand fires the weapons. If you haven’t already, you should tell your son it’s one of the control options. (Unless he’s already found it). Having a controller in each hand is an absolute Boss way to play a game!
The Bossest, in fact! :sunglasses:

Wow! thanks for the tip. My son is too young (he is almost 6) but I’ll try it

I had the original Tandy Color Computer, the Atari 2600, and a Radio Shack Pong machine that hooked to the TV. The main game I remember from early on was Adventure on the 2600. I spent more time playing Earl Weaver Baseball on a Tandy 1000 in my early gaming years than anything else.

A true connaisseur we have here!

N64 = Goldeneye and Zelda Ocarina of Time
Sega Mega Drive/Genesis = Fairy Tale Adventure
Playstation 1 = Final Fantasy 7
Atari 2600 = Yars Revenge
C64 = Ghostbusters and Bruce Lee
